It's true. I have pictures of me as a baby sitting in my Dad's guitar case. I remember being serenaded by 70's and 80's soft rock songs...this is probably why I like the band Bread, lol. They haven't done many weddings in the last 10 years or so, but still direct the church folk choir...I never realized how good my parents were until I started going to a different church where the music is just awful... Anyways, one of my lifelong friends is getting married in November and just asked me if my parents would do the music during mass at her wedding...she hates organs & thinks the guitar could be cool... I think it's great, sweet, and a little goofy all at the same time, lol...my mom said they would do it...though they'll probably have to learn a few new songs unless my friend is aiming for an 80's theme... so anyways, what do you think of this? I think it will help my friend save some $$$ because my parents would never charge her for it... what about your folks? do they have any strange hobbies or

I think that this is very neat. I have never thought about that before. I hav always thought about celebrities singing at weddings. That sounds like a cool hobby. So with both of your parents singing, did you inherit their talent of song?

I kind of think of the Adam Sandler movie "The Wedding Singer"...but they aren't nearly that cheesy...it was an interesting way to grow up, that's for sure!! I am able to sing a little, but I never really used it that much...I have written & recorded a few songs, but most of them I think I pretty terrible!

Well, my mom is definitely a unique individual. She has sold Avon for about 40 years. She has had her own flea market booth for about 20+ years. She's a real hustler, as some might say.
