Who here owns a PUG?

I love pugs! i absolutely love them. A few months back 2 pugs came into the vets that I was working at. I'd never really thought much about pugs and didn't know much about them but when I met these 2 guys I fell in love with them. They were just so friendly and loveable I couldn't believe it! They're like little humans and ever since then, I've pined for my own pug. Unfortunately I can't have one where I live becasue we're not alloweed pets and the yard doesn't have a fence. Also, I'm aware that pugs can have breathing difficulties and are prone to infections and eye problems so if I did get a pug I'd want to have plenty of money spare just incase anything happened in an emergency. So it's probably gonna be a couple of years til i can fill these requirements but I'd like to know of anyone who has or has had pugs before. What were your experiences with them health wise? Do you have any cute or funny stories to tell? I'd love to hear and feel free to POST PICTURES !!!!

I have a puggle does he count..he's half pug and half beagle but mostly puggish?

Haha I wonder what his temperament is like because from my experience beagles are very excitable. Do you have a photo of your puggle?

Even though I don't have anything to tell you about them health wise I do have something I'd like to say. My friend's parents had one when we were growing up and gosh darn! They ARE soooo cute!! Their big eyes, pushed up noses and wagging tails make a person fall hopelessly in love with them!! My friend and I would talk to them in cute high pitched voices and watch them just dance all over the place. I love them too and I wish you the best of luck in getting one!!

Haha yeah they are cute-although it's a bit cruel that they're been purposely deformed over the years to look like that...I agree that their big googly eyes are jus toooo cute!

I wish I had one. They're my absolute favourite dog. They're just so cute. My partner has promised that in the next couple of years when we're set up in our own house, that we can get one.
Our neighbours across the road got a pug puppy a few months back and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. I nearly cried! It was so tiny though. I'm a bit worried of what my cats will make of it when I finally get one!
They look like pickles!

HAhaha pickles! haha that's hilarious. AAaahhh. I can't see the resemblance myself but they are certainly so damn cute! My fiance has promised me the same thing too! I can't wait. Have you looked up pugs on youtube? If not, go to youtube.com and search for 'screaming pug'. There's a pug there that screams at the tv and I've never laughed so much in my life! It must be a pug thing, because there's quite a few videos on there of pugs screaming like yoda. If I were you I'd be over the road playing with their pug every day!
