Is there just something that has to be brand name? Mine are tennis shoes have to be skeechers, has to be dawn dishsoap, miracle whip, butter not margarine and peanut butter has to be either skippy or peter pan, and ketchup heinz. That is all I can think of now. These are the things that I will spend the little extra. and toliet paper has to be charmin or cottenelle.

depending on the qualities of a certain goods...obviously the brand carries the quality...we can not identify a good product without the brand so it is more important to be considered.

Normally the good qualities always make them to be the brand products. Definitely, all the brand products will have certain required and satisfactory standards. So it is worthy and fair enough to pay some extra for them. For coffee I rather take Nestle, for shandy I prefer Anglia. For those expensive electrical devices I always insist to get the brands, like fridge and digital camera, as they have longer guarantee period. Some other new products might be equally good but they are not established yet, so they cost comparative lower. I still would like to buy them if I come across any.
