Are online colleges worth it?

Has anyone gotten a degree from an online college? Do you think online colleges are just as good as regular colleges? Is the cost more or less than a regular college?

I took an online course to be a medical transcriptionist. I graduated in january and now have a job doing it. I just started it today but I think its worth it. I was able to work at my own pace on my time. It was way cheaper than going through an actual college. It only cost me around $1000. Which I was able to pay in low monthly payments. I went through Penn Foster. If you decide good luck. I recommend it.

Congrats on the new job! I'm skeptical about taking online courses because you never know if their legit and if the degree/certificate would be acceptable. I guess its all in your research of different schools out there.
