What do you like best about the Harry Potter series? I like the way it was written for young adults, and also the way it portrays a somewhat teenager to be forced to be a hero. I like the way it triggers my imagination to soar and to be in Hogwarts. I like the Hogwarts castle, it is full of mystery and it is full of adventures.

what i like best about the Harry Potter series is the portrayal of relationships. Especially friendship. Harry, Ron and Hermione are representatives of true, strong, everlasting friendship. It is their friendship that saves them from Voldemort and finally defeats him. Then we see a very realistic portrayal of family relationships. There is Mr. Weasley as the loving Dad; Lucius Malfoy as a father who wants his son to bring glory and power to the family; a bad father in Tobias Snape. We see a loving, sacrificial mother in Lily; an over protective mother in Mrs. Weasley; an over pampering mother in Petunia. Then there are prankish fun loving children in form of the Weasley kids; Harry, a loving son who avenges his parents murder; a son proud of his heritage in Draco; son who hates his parents in Voldemort and Snape. Thus the series gives us an excellent picture of people and relationships. It is so humanly magical!

You're so right there! I also think that there is good psychology behind the story of Harry Potter and that there are loads of lesson to learn, not only from Harry himself but also from the other characters, like Voldemort and Snape. thank you for responding!

He is magic... and "popular". When i was in high school, we always talk and talk about "harpot" because he is awesome and so popular. I just wonder, he is really powerful than Voldermort...

Yes, I have noticed that the movies does not even give a glimpse of Peeves, our resident poltergeist. I'd like to see some action from him, especially when he's out bullying old Filch. Thanks for the response!

Well, what i love most about the Harry Potter series... is that... eventhought it is categorically written for children... even adult would enjoy and appreciate reading every book of the series... Aside for that... the author's ability to put into writing her great imagination is outstanding... i love the way she mergers long time myths with her own creations...
