i was going home this afternoon and this question just struck me..
how do you know that you love someone??
i always knew my answer for this question..i know i love someone if i feel that i need to be involved in their lives..i may not have a say in it but the least i could do is know about the things that happen in their lives..then i know i care, i worry, and i love them..
but in a romantic sense..i know i love someone if i seek their attention for most of the time..and maybe this would be almost the same with other girls..
but for the men..i want to know..how do men know that they love a certain woman??how do you figure it out??how do you keep on holding to that emotion??
curiosity is keeping me alive..haha

How do I Know I love my wife? I can't do without her and when she is away I feel a part of me is missing. I feel happiness and freedom when I'm with her. I feel comfortable and always want to see her smile.

ok..lemme repeat myself..
what im trying to ask here is how do you know you love someone??
if you're together with somebody at the moment, how did you know you wanted to be with that person..
i want to know about how you knew that you were falling in love..
but i must say..you're answers are sweet..and im hoping
all of you will feel the same after youth has passed..

This question have even struck to me many times. I even asked my boyfriend once that how did he know that he loved me and as usual the answer was that I just did. But I think it varies from individual to individual. Like for me, if I love someone I would want to care of that person. Moreover,I would also love to be part of their decisions but not as intruding their personal space, it would be to certain limits. I would also see to it that their lives are going right way.I would want to do things for them without any selfishness and would enjoy doing all that. As far as romantic love is concerened I think including all the above things if I feel jealous about that's person's even smiling at someone else (opposite gender), then it's a clear indication that I am in love with that person.
As far as men are concerned, I think if thay want to spend time with a particular female, gives more attention, takes care of her little things, can't stand anyone else giving attention to her, loves to talk to a girl then he is definately in love with her.
That's how I think about it, the way I have experienced. However, as I said before,it may vary from individual to individual.So, we cannot be sure about it!! But one advice that I would like to give for all those who want to know the truth: Follow your instincts, trust your heart and you would know all what you want to.

Well, I am a girl, but Im going to give a shot at an answer based on how my boyfriend treats me. He almost places me on a pedestal and thinks that there is no girl in the world that could be better than me. He never wants to hurt my feelings or ignore me. He is patient and kind, respectful, slow to anger, always assumes the best of me. Its like that Bible verse "love is patient and kind" I cant remeber all of it right now, but im sure most of you have heard it. That really is what its like to be in love, both for women and men.
