How can I buy a house in our country?

You know our country has the most people in the world,so yhe price of house is very high.About $500/square!In our small city!
Many people in China now couldn't afford a house ,even theu work hard everyday .
But do you believe that every year our country build many houses?And most of them are occupied by few people?I really hate this!
I don't know the situation in your countries,please show me~It is cheaper than our country,I'm sure.

I donw understand $500/Square.. Is that $500 per square foot? In the USA it depends on where you live ,as to how much a house would cost.. I think thats anywhere around the world.. Here they go over a million dollars on some houses or a 6 figure amount or a 5 figure amount.. Then you may find some homes under $100,000.. Hope this helps some.
