That's cool.Where i live, you have to get a reptile licence. It's good in a way i suppose because some people don't do their research before getting an unusual pet and have no idea how to look after them.

Strangly, other people have asked me that question and no, maybe certain places might, but we bought him at a PetSmart and, yeah I didn't need anything.

i cant beleive people and the dog fighting i have worked with animals for the past 8 years starting at a humane society where i saw the most awful things like collars inbeded in dogs necks just because people cant be bothered to adjust the puppies collar as it gets bigger. and have dealt with the aftermath of dog fighting when they would come in and i would have to put them down i spent many days crying over the ones that i had to euthanize because the fighters couldnt do it themselves.

I know, the people involved in dog fights are just barbaric and don't care about the animals suffering..just the sick entertainment and money. That would have been heartwrenching to see the abuse of animals on a daily basis. You did wonderful work even if alot of it was to have to end their life..it was necessary.

you know when it comes down to euthanasia i have been through the ringer as far as the community and the news paper in that town and i still feel the same today as i did back then i would rather put down 1 puppy with parvo/distemper than risk the entire shelter of 120 animals and when it comes to animals in fighting if you can fix the injury and they are good dogs then great but if there is no hope then i will be the first one to stand up and do the job because i cant stand to see an animal suffer. i take pride in what i had to do i gave those animals more love in that last 10 min. than they had in thier entire lives.

nothing unusual here... We have 3 dogs (2 beagles and a mutt) and about 15 tropical fish (2 aquariums). We used to have an iguana, but he moved to a better larger environment a couple of years ago...

At the moment,i'm getting back into my old passion for tropical fish..hopefully i can get a larger tank later this year as the fish i have are peaceful and i would love to get some cichlids like oscars-they are my favourite!

I currently have a 9 year old lab mix and a one year old Siberian Husky, both were rescues. I have only ever owned dogs, and always 2 dogs at a time. While I was growing up I had 2 Husky/Sheppard mix (they were brothers) one lived to be 12 while the other lived to be 19. When the one that lived to be 12 passed on, I got an Australian Sheppard. When the one that lived to be 19 passed I got the lab mix that I currently have, when the Australian Sheppard passed I got the Siberian Husky that I also currently have.

That's wonderful.2 dogs together is good company for you and for eachother.I'm not a big dog person but have had dogs and those breeds can be pretty special. It's so hard when they pass away though and it's so sad when the other dog frets from missing them.

hehe,i think the weenie dogs look funny but sooooo cute! The chihuhua x pom would be gorgeous-i had a miniature pom once and he was lovely.Just scared very easily-if he got scolded,he'd faint lol.

the great dane mix sounds interesting.I had a pit bull x staffy. He was such a sook but because of his looks,he was stolen by some creeps who make dogs fight.Poor thing wouldn't have lasted long. Annabelle sounds like a beautiful dog.
