It will have to be gold. Reason: Gold has an atomic number of 79, while silver only has an atomic number of 47. The larger the atomic number, the heavier the element is. =)

Just as an addition, gold has an atomic weight of 196.9666 g/mol while silver has an atomic weight of 107.8682 g/mol. That shows that gold is heavier. =)

I think both weigh same .1 Kg of gold = 1 Kg of silver.
