How we live our lives

What philosophy/quote/poem etc do you use to live life by? Do you have your own or use an old well known one? What does it mean to you? i often find that my philosophy changes dpending on what has been going on in life. Currently i have been using kind of a mix of the Nike slogan (Just DO IT!) and the old dance like no body is watching thing. To me it is just saying et out there and live while you can.

i use someone elses philosophy, but it works for me. "nothing is at last sacred, but the intergrity of your own mind." - henrey david thoreu. its the most beutiful quote i've ever heard && it means so much to me.

My life is based on the idea of honor. My specific honor code is a mix of ancient Celtic religion and my personal experience, but it's really not as complicated as that makes it sound. Anything I do has to be inspected and held up against my honor code to see if it is the proper action. Sometimes that means I hesitate, but other times these are split-second decisions, especially if someone is in danger. Protecting others before my own life is pretty much at the top of my honor code. In truth, my life has been very hard, and it would have been easy for me to become bitter and cruel. Instead I choose to focus on ways in which I can help others in bad situations, and always acting with honor no matter what is done to me or what I have to go through. In the end, it all comes down to the fact that my Goddess will be proud of me. :)

At adult age, one should be honest, sincere, hardworking. The rewards automatically come. Then marry a woman, have trust in her and vice versa, raise family, continue to instill your principles in them. I think it is going to be steady and trouble free life till one gets visa to pack and go.

I'm not sure what philosophy I live by. I think I live my life based on Bible principles. When I was a child my mother was a cub-scout leader for my brother. I think I was raised to have all those good characteristics. There is one saying in the bible I work by it goes something like this: when performing a job or task do it as though your doing it for God.
