WWE No Way Out

How Was No Way Out for you? Ok so we had Raws Elimination chamber with triple H coming out as the victor and earning himself a shot at the wwe Title at wrestlemania 24 ( now been turned into a triple thread match with Cena added in there for good measure. We had smackdowns elimination chamber with the undertaker coming out the victor and earning himself a shot at the world heavy weight championship at wrestlemania 24. We had John cena VS Randy orton for the wwe title which john cena won by randy orton getting himself disqualified by hitting the ref in the face. We had Rey Mysterio VS Edge for the world heavyweight championship, Edge won the match. We had Chavo VS cm punk for the ECW championship with chavo beating Cm punk We had Rick Flair VS Mr Kenedy with the dirtiest player in the game beating Mr Kenedy as only he knows how. For me i was quite dissapointed with the ppv because only 2 of the matches were any good and that was the two elimination chamber matches. Rey Mysterio was in no fit state to be fighting edge that night and the match was no sooner started then it was over, i am simply glad that this was a free uk ppv on sky sports 1 and not a box office one. The wwe title match between john cena and randy orton was stupid to say the least, i couldn't believe that they would let randy orton do such a thing to retain the title, slapping the ref round the face was idiotic, childish and down right pathetic on ortons part, to me all this showed was how crappy wwe's story lines are becoming and how much of a rubish champion randy orton really is. The chavo vs cm punk watch was quite short lived as well i'm not that keen on either of these pair so the matches btween them are not interesting me in the least but the match could have been much better thought out and much better executed. the flair vs kenedy match was exactly what you would expect, it's been common knowledge around the net that flair is not retiring until around wrestlemania so he was bound to win but putting him against talent such as kenedy is just silly really, they are far more toned, far more agile, far more resiliant it's just stupid. Now onto the smackdown elimination chamber. This was the first of the two chamber matches and didn't dissapoint, i felt that mvp got a good shot in there at a few of the others but you can't deny that the whole match was virtually dominated by undertaker and batista, at was always about them going into it and it was always going to be them two left at the end of it as well but great to see the undertaker come out as the victor, now lets just hope that he can get the job done at wrestlemania and take back his title from edge. Last but not least the raw elimination chamber. For me there were always 3 possible winners for this match, jeff hardy, shaun michaels, triple H. Michaels took on hell of a battering and got himself a broken nose for his troubles, jbl just looked like his flabby old self and wasn't much use to anyone even himself, umaga did what umaga does best and demolished as much as he could but he's just not THAT good, jeff hardy did a great job and shows he is improving more and more all the time and he's not far off being a serious contender for the wwe title and of course Triple H pinned hardy to win the raw chamber match but it was one hell of a night for triple H. when i stopped watching that ppv i sat back and thought to myself " damn am i glad i didn't have to pay for this" , i'm now thinking to myself that i don't think i will bother ordering any box office ppv's any more either because the standard of ppv's has dropped dramatically for wwe so much so that TNA's are looking a damn sight better.

well copuldnt agree with you mor eon this. The best two matches were indeed teh two elimination matches and the rest of the other matches were more like included for the sake of making it a PPV and nothing else. And so it was really a blessing that this was not a box office PPV whereby we were to be disappointed at paying a premium to watch some sub-standard matches

i agree whole heartidly with you, the one thing i don't like with wwe is that they seem to be churning out sub standard ppv's which is rather annoying, i've been a wwe fan since i was a lil nipper, my dad took me to an in house show when it was WWF, i was lucky enough to see bret hart take on his brother own ( although the match was identical to their royal rumble match not long before ) but i loved it all the same, now it's gone down hill alot, i've still as i've grown up gone to other house shows and taken my family along with me for a great night out ( which it always is ) now hoping my new arrival will be into it as much as i still like it so i can take him to house shows when he gets a bit older. One thing i am glad of though is that here in the uk tna ppv's are free on bravo so even if i don't watch the wwe ppv's on box office i can still see a wrestling ppv which is cool.
