Hi myLotters! I joined myLot a couple of days ago. Well, actually, I have been a reader of myLot for some time.
I have enjoyed reading your posts for about a month. I finally got up the nerve to formally join up.
myLot really does deserve a round of applause!
Most of the "social" websites that I have been too turned out to be, well, really abusive.
I've been bullied and shunned.
And these are people who I have never met.
But I have been reading your posts to each other on here and I believe that this is a very nice and warm site.
I hope that I don't ramble too much on here, though.
My interest in myLot is simply to contribute something positive, hopefully and to learn by your contributions.
So, HELLO again.
Here's hoping that we can "meet" and have some fun with all of the possible discussions.

hi Kitkat, NCgirl here, welcome to mylot! I just signed up 4 days ago, and I'm having fun here. Ramblings are ok I think, there's always someone out there to read anyone's topic. Hope you enjoy your stay, and hope we reached thousands of posts! wow, that's a lot of days and hours to put up with..lol

I think that was a really good idea, that you just sat and read posts, before you joined us, I never thought to do that, I just slammed on in.
I started, then kind of lost interest, then started back up again. I Love it here, and I'm sure you will too.
Not a whole lot of $$$$ to be made, but there are tons of wonderful people here.
So, good luck to you and hopefully I'll see-ya round.

Hope you find it fun here.
As for what you've said of social sites I'll say this of the lot. I've been bullied, shamed and shunned. Not only that there's more of an subtle way of doing it via the star rating (but thats not how I've always seen it, open acts have occured -_-). But I'm more of a "loudmouth" and "ogre" so I'm an abboration. If you're kind and just yourself, you should be safe. Anything is still possible though...
But enough of that.
Here's to seeing more to you and hearing more from you Kitkat!
And don't worry about rambling too much. *I'VE* cornered that market :)

Hey rashmigs! Thank You so much for the good luch wish. The same to you. This is simply so much fun. And just as you said, very informative. Oh and IF I ever do get some sort of abusive response, I would probably just let it slide off my back. Well, unless it was really and truly threatening, that is.

It's nice to know that you finally decided to join this wonderful community, as I'm sure you'll love participating here.
There are also trolls, nuisance members and bashers hanging around here. But the thing is, they don't have any power or any right to do that since you can also report them them to the admin and cancel their accounts here!;)LoL
So you don't have to worry, just look for good members and topics to post here. There are lots of helpful and friendly folks that are willing to exchange views with others, so I wish you good luck and hope you enjoy your stay here..

Hi kitkatgal70! I do hope that you enjoy your stay at myLot. I also used to be hesitant about joining myLot. In fact, after signing up, I thought it was just a waste of time posting discussions here and there or responding to discussions posted by other people. Later on, I got the hang of it and myLot definitely has been part of my everyday life since then. I hope to read more from you! Good luck!

I have been on another website until recently. But there were people on there who just sort of treated others badly.
I haven't seen that too much on here.
Just alot of helpful people.
