I've read Rick Warren's book, "The Purpose Driven Life." It made sense to me. I was wondering if anyone else had read it and what do you think of it? If you haven't read it, I highly recommend you buy a copy for yourself and read it. I'd also like to ask everyone out there, "What do you think is your specific purpose in life?"

I think that my purpose in life is to help other people realize their full potential and to encourage them to go for their dreams. For the past few days I have been on a trip visiting about 8 cities wherein I got to talk to various employees of the company that I am working with. I had exterted efforts to motivate the people and encourage them to help themselves because in helping themselves they are also helping others by creating jobs as a direct result of their efforts. I got a lot of good responses and people left smiling and happy. I felt that I had made a really good trip

I have read that book. It's a wonderful and helpful book. In a way that I think about my purpose in life. I need to read it all over again. Well, I think my purpose in life is to help others in my own little ways. Whatever they are, I'll share something to them.

I have read and occasionally re-read "The Purpose Driven Life". When I first started going to the church that I am a member of they provided the book for anyone who wanted it and the entire church went through a 30 lession plan including a simalcast (?spelling) with Rick Warren speaking. It was all excellent and I too recommend the book to everyone. My purpose in life - I can't say I have a spectacular purpose other than sharing with others but after reading the book I found a great joy in being a greeter at the church and authoring and publishing a weekly newsletter for the women's group (something they'd never had but asked me to do).
