it depends on how much meat they have on them as to how long you cook them but the oven at 350 covered with a little water in the bottom of the pan (so they can steam a bit) and when they ar almost done then put BBQ sauce on them you will know they are done when the meat pulls away from the ends of the bone and then adjust the time the next time you do ribs by how you like them ( rare, medium, well done) its up to you but basic rule 350 for about 1-1 1/2 hours.

Thank you you saved my dinner. I cooked it for about a hour and they were perfect. What a life saver

I think ribs cooked in the oven taste better. Just a matter of personal preference here. I like to season them up (done to your taste), and throw them in the oven at 250 degrees and cook slowly for about 6 - 8 hours. By time they come out, the meat is basically falling off the bone. No knawing on them has to be done.

Thank you for getting back to me so fast, but I need to cook these two night I am afraid if they sit in the fridge another day they will go bad, but I will keep in mind what you have said for the next time.

I have ribs marinading right now actually for supper tomorrow....I usually do them in the oven because I like to slow cook them for the day and they come out SO tender! I put them in sauce and all and slow cook them at 250-275 for about 7 hrs or so basting every hour or so...

All you have to do is set your oven at 350 degrees, season well and then place them in the oven covered but make sure you add a little water. Are you going to barbecue them? If so, then when they are nearly done, add the barbecue sauce and return them to the oven uncovered for another 10-15 minutes. Enjoy!!

what temp are they supposed to be at when they are done. Is there a time line like 10 minutes per pound?
