How does a person get a higher rating on here? Do you have to be on here for a certain amount of time? do you have to discuss certain subjects. I see people with stars on thier profiles how did they get them?

You get the star after you get 100 posts.
The star will change color based on your rating. The highest is 10, and that number is based on what people rate your posts.

I'm not positive, but I think the star shows up based on how many posts that you make that people rate (with the plus sign), and after you have made one hundred posts.
