My Family Doctor

I went to my family doctor on tuesday and he gave me an antibotic and it put me inthe hospital. I went in there and they said they couldn't find my chart and he went ahead and seen me any way without it. I asked them just to give me another appointment until they find my chart, but they said no that he wanted to see me any way. I am on a lot of med's and he didn't even have that list in front of him or my medical history to even make a judgement on what to give me.

i have a similar story...last december the whole left side of my face swelled up and i was in the hospital for 4 days and then 3 days as an out patient. the doctors had no idea what do to for me and i believe that stuff like this happens because our medical system is so taxed, so they don't have time to devote to an individual patient.

You are right, but they need to be careful and really listen to there patients. And be more careful and not lose there charts.
