I was jubilant, reading Dan Brown's "Digital Fortress". This techno-thriller resembles a solid action/thriller movie. "Digital Fortress" is about the NSA's invincible code-breaking machine and how it encounters a code that it cannot break. The NSA is being held hostage by this code.. so it's imperative that it be broken into decipherable pieces. The task of saving the agency from a threat that could very well bring it down to its knees, belongs to the main character Susan Fletcher. The critical aspect to consider before perusing "Digital Fortress", is its lack of depth. You cannot expect an analytical novel. It is actually a novel that equates to a popcorn movie. It is engaging and a thrilling expedition. With cliff-hangers serving as conclusions to every chapter, it keeps you committed, fully to the story. The most impressive facet is the decent delivery of many elements. It's depth is not profound.. yet still, it speaks volumes about its subject. The romantic portion is supremely sappy but enormously effective. Best of all, the poignant writing, creates a pleasant fast pace read, with decorous comedy relief. Have you read this great novel?

Yes, I read this book about a month back. It was sure thrilling, but even I could decipher that the man called North Dakota was Tankudo himself. So, I was a bit surprised that even though they at first discussed that option, they did not go further into it and ended up in a mess. But yes, I couldn't just keep it aside for long. It was good.
