I never worked freelance, but my hubby did several years ago when he lived near New York City. His favorite freelance job was when he would go out on the street with a producer and shoot random interviews. He called them POS interviews...People On the Street. He worked for a couple companies that paid him very wel do go out for a couple of hours a day and shoot these interviews and the best was when the client didn't feel they received the exact "type" interviews they wanted, they'd call my hubby to go out ahoot interviews of employees, giving the responses the client wanted... he'd get paid a full day rate to do about 4 hours worth of work. He also shot a music video that paid him $250 for the shoot and another $400 for the edit.

Sounds like those kleenex commercials where they drag out the couch and two people sit around talking lol, :P I think it would be neat to do that, sitting around there picking random people and just talking to them about life and what they think. I would definitely love to have an opprotunity like that, and once I get a little cash going maybe i'll stop by there as it isn't too far from me and see what offers I can find :) haha, POS is definitely not a good way to abbreviate things.. But yeah, ohlala, moneeyy! haha

My hubby said it would probably be easy for you to find work with a film company in the spring as a production assistant. They make about $100- $125 per day. Sometimes it isn't easy... going to warehouses and digging out old sets. But sometimes he would spend half a day faxing scripts or making phone calls for the director or taking a food order, calling it in and delivering it to everyone. He always said it was easy money, but the days are often long and the days before the shoot can be gruesome, sometimes last 14-15 hours (he would get what he called "double-rate" for those days) He was very good at props and companies would use him to hunt down props. He once spent two enitre dayshunting down pink wigs for a Hasbro commercial for MyLittle Pony...lol. I can't imagine my hubby trying to hail a taxi holding a pink wig...LOL

I have gone through freelancer but have not been able to find a job for myself. I have earlier done work on typing books page by page as per specifications. I am not a web designer as i am an expert on finance. Let me know if i can find such work online and where.

Exactly what I am doing, being a writer for pay. I love it because I set my price, who I work for, and what I write. Ainge
