What Do You Think Of All The Ads For Prescription Meds On TV?

I can remember in the not too far past, you would never hear an ad for a prescription medication on TV. It just was not acceptable. Today, you can hear ads on every channel many times a day and night for just about any medication. I personally do not believe the ads to be true. They make every medication sound like it it just what you need for whatever your problem is. When we get a medical problem, we would do just about anything to get help for it. Do you listen to the ads and ask your doctor to prescript the medication? Well I did once and it did not turn out good. I was allergic to the medication. I felt so silly after asking my doctor to prescript it. Have you ever ask a dr to prescript a certain medication for your problem as a result of seeing an ad for it on TV? Do you beleive those ads? Do you think the ads tell enough about the health risks involved with the medication? What do you think of the ads?

I think most of them are silly. The viagra and cialis comercials make me laugh so hard. I know it is wrong but I find them hopelessly entertaining.

I get a good laugh out of some of them as well. Especially the little disclaimers that they have to add at the end for legal reasons.
