Data Entry job and Transcribing

Aside from Transcribing job there is also one online and home-based job that really pays well. Data Entry job. But my question is, do you really have to pay for the training and for the materials that they promised to be free? I don't understand why they put it in their ads free registration but in fact, you have to pay for the materials and everything. Have you tried applying for the said position? Can you tell me more about it?

Ive posted dicussion about Data Entry and all i got are similar replies saying not to trust all these...theyre suppose to pay you and not make you pay for the training..i have a friend doing the same job before and didnt get paid for the effort, then she quit!

Wah, too bad for her. I really don't trust those sites that posts job opportunity and asked money after. It just makes me think that it's a scam.
