Do you consider yourself to be optimistic, or pessimistic, or neither? Why's that?

I have always considered myself optomistic for the simple reason that I have always chosen to see the lighter side of things and situation. I don't dwell on the negative because I find that it is just so unproductive for me. Over the years I have trained myself to be positive in my outlook and I have also long decided that I would always consciously chose to be happy and be optomistic. There are a lot of people out there who are so lethargic, sad and pessimistic by choice. One could always do something about ones moods and perceptions. I just choose to be positive.

I am a pessimistic because everything sucks and never goes my way ever. LOL I don't know I suppose I have moments of both depending on the situation. I have been trying to become more optimistic when dealing with challenges.

I consider myself to be optimistic. I can look for the positive side of almost any situation. I call myself a Polly Anna type person. I have had a few hard times, but I have survived and flourished. How about you, are you an optimist?

Hi Sometimes is think negative and sometimes i think positive. However, I can say that I am in an optimistic mood most of the time. Sometimes, when i spoil my mood over something, rest of the times i belong to the optimistic category. I look at life with full of oppurtunities. So even if something goes wrong, very soon I console myself and look out for other/better oppurtunites. How about u? Are you otimistic or pessimistic?
