How about you? I love ehow. You write an article and you keep making money no matter if you are on there or not. It is based on how many times your article is viewed. You can ever search the most viewed articles and other categories to get an idea about what kind of articles to write to better your earnings. It's great.

Thanks for the post. I'm already signed up for ehow, I'm just not as active like I am here on mylot. I keep getting their daily bulletings on my email and find a lot of interesting topics. I never really had the motivation to get into ehow until now. Your discussion is certainly pushing me to get more involved there.

Well, get going then! LOL. I don't get daily bulletins. Guess I didn't check that box when I signed up.

Its good to know you've made money with it. I joined a while back but haven't wrote anything yet. I'll have to get over there and give it a try as soon as I get time. Its a nice site.

Yes, it is a great site. But you do have to write some articles to make money.

Thanks so much, I have never heard of this. I will look into that site. Like I said to someone else just a few moments ago, never a good idea to put all of your eggs into one basket! Just another thing to add to getting some cash!

You are welcome. I am unsure of how I first heard of them. They are great though. Not stingy at all either. Yup that is true. Especially since you can make money on ehow w/o actually being online.

Hi there! That's really cool. Congratulations with your earnings. Maybe you can show us a screenshot as a proof that you were paid? It sounds interesting and I might try it.

I don't know how to do screenshots. You get paid once a month thru paypal. Every month too. NO minimum payout. Just go to ehow. It doesn't have a referral program I don't think. At least I haven't ever found anything on one. You write how to articles. Your pay is based on how many times your article is viewed. So I am still being paid for articles that I wrote in November. It's great. You should really check it out.

Actually they do have a minimum payout. you must reach $10 in revenue by the end of the month or it rolls over to the next month.

I have 23 articles currently. The key to more earnings isn't really how many you have but what the topics are. Popular topics get more views.

Yes, that is true. I don't pay so much attention to what I am writing about I guess. I have done a few recipes. And I did one on weight loss tips. I should write a few more about that. It's popular and I know a lot about weight loss. I lost 70 pounds a couple of years ago. I researched a lot.

Thanks for posting this! I really like to write so I think this will be an excellent way to go. It really is funny to find something like this...seems like I find good things on the internet just by tripping over them. Looks like it is a popularity thing with articles too. Any advice as far as being successful and making money with ehow? What is the comp plan like?

I guess that would depend on how motivated you are. I have a little over 20 articles on there and made $13 as of yesterday. You make money depending upon article views. If you write a great article, then it will be viewed a lot.

Congratulations for earnings. I am also happy to know more about it. It think it is nice to get paid for writing articles and people reading it. How much do they pay and how many visitors a person has to get? I would love to know more about it.

I'm not sure how much they pay per view or anything like that. It's based on the amount of views. The min payout is $10. That is very easy to reach once you have a few articles on there. Well, good ones. I even have some recipes posted. I've made over $14 this month.

I'm glad you started this post because I signed up for e-How but I must be a dummy...lol! I started to write an article and I don't know what I was doing wrong but I think it was where I had to list what was needed, which I gave the ingredients for a veggie dish I make, then I couldn't figure out how to continue on to the body of the article. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this right or not since I'm not on the site right now but can you help me, PLEASE! Annie

Thanks! When I get back on there if I have any problem I'll holler for help! I must have been doing something wrong. I put the ingredients for my recipe and I couldn't figure out how to go from there. It may have been some computer glitch or something too. Annie

I can try to help. You have to write it in steps. Does that make sense? There has to be at least 3 steps. What I do with recipes is put the ingredients in the first step. Then split the recipe up into steps to follow. Does that help? Or on the first page, there is a little box where you list what is needed. I always put ingredients, stove, bowl, pan...etc. Does that help?

I will have to check this site out and try it. I have written a couple of articles on Helium but I haven't made much off of them. I would like to find a site that I could make some good money on so that I could help add to the family income as my husband has been off work since December and the bills haven't stopped. It seems as though the last month or two have been the hardest on us and I am really trying to make more money for us to be able to pay some extra bills with.

Ehow is great. I am not up to over $20 per month. I don't think I've even written an article in 2 months. I own a vacation company that does fundraising if you would like to raffle off a vacation to help raise some extra money for your bills. Feel free to email me.

Congrats to you for making that much. I looked over the site as I also want to earn as I'm a freelance writer. But upon looking at it, only US citizen are allowed. Do you know other sites like eHow that allows international members? Thanks and congrats again. « Gab »

Hey CrazyGirl. I write at a few other sites and have not met minimum yet and it's been nearly a year. But then I need to get my butt busy and start writing again. I'm going to check out the ehow site and see how it is. If I could make $20 a month, that will help put food on my table for half a week since the gas price is taking that away. HA!!!

I love ehow. I go back every once in awhile and write an article. Sometimes I just copy a recipe.
