MRI test results are back!

as some of my friends know I have had a problem with my left shoulder after starting threapy to get my arms back to working after the operation. well I have hurt like heck! for several months now and therapy could only get left arm to go so far well trheapist finally decided I need and MRI done yup about time ya think) well I got the results today I have a small tear in the rotor cup of my shoulder now I have an appointment with Orthopedic on the 12th of MArch so now I will find out how bad it is and what to do about it . I wonder if thrapy caused it for that arm was doing good till then and if so was they making it worse by the steaching for over 2 months@

owie! that sounds awful - whether the therepy caused it or not it certainly did not aide in its healing by manipulating it so much. The 12th seems so far away when you are in such pain.

yes it does but then I have been in pain with it for about 4 months

Good luck with the Ortho. At least you know what it is. I would not think that the therapy alone would have done it, but I have been wrong before.

thnaaaaaaks and not sure about it was fine before they started it waas the right arm we were tring to get use of all the way and we did that lol

I am sorry to hear this but I am glad it is nothing worse as I have been a bit worried that it might be so I am pleased that it is nothing worse but sad becuase you have more Pain to go through

yup me too this is bad enough for I have to now watch how to put that arm so it dont run pains all over and make me sick to tummy. thanks and hugs

Awww no Lakota - that is all you need right now isn't it? I do hope that the doctor has a plan to get things sorted and pain free quickly - you deserve a bit of luck! xxx

thanks I have to wait now to see the orthopedic and see what they say Am in hopes with what ever they can get me well soon .

I am sure therapy wasn't good for it, that is if you had the tear before therapy...Yikes!! I am glad that you are getting the right information now and get the help you need...

thanks and I didnt think I had any trouble with that arm before threapy and it just got worse.now hoping they can get it fixed!

Gee, some therapy, no doubt it did make the situation even worse than it was..if you had something even just slightly wrong before the therapy, it probably aggravated it all the more. Sending prayers to you that you find out what the Orthopedics say on March 12th

thanks I need it I was watching a show where some one had put shoulder out of place and had some one pull and rank on it to put it back and later was in a sling am just wondering if they wil pput me in one too lol. probably a whole lot differnt with me as that was just a show lol

Hi friend... Good to know you have the results back and hope they don't want to do more surgery. Does your physiotherapist do acupuncture? Many are trained to do it and it can assist in relieving pain and stiffness. Sounds as though you need some pampering for that warrior woman body of yours. You are amazing the way you just keep on keeping on with such a positive, valiant attitude. As you know by now I admire your strength...and sincerely hope that your embattled body finds lasting relief soon. In the meantime draw upon the love of and support of your many friends here...and in your home turf. We are all pulling for you...but only energetically. I didnt see any one there getting acupunture done but then I wasnt there all the time!. and I didnt ask. Oh yes the poking and proding was way to much and then they couldnt find the veins as they can only do that in the lefy arm now. can only take blood pressure there too and when they took that the blood would run way back in the tubing some times they flushed it back witht he saline. and that would hurt some I am so flushes out in that arm its made of saline now lololololol, hugs and blessing to you both!
