Boston not a good contender of the NBA finals

the big 3 is a very good weapon but the west has so many powerhouse and its a tough battle but i think the boston celtics lack the talent required to get a title

did thay have malone with oneal? i remember malone and oneal in miami but not in LA i remember payton being with kobe.
other wise i believe their are 3 other teams who stand a better chance to win the title.

I think boston is a contender for the nba finals. First, they have great chemistry and they are all unselfish right now, and that is what led them to having the best record. Rondo is doing pretty well in handling the pressure and gets a good stat line some nights. Perkins is not bad and can finish and block shots. The addition of PJ Brown could help once he gets into playing shape. Adding Cassell was a great move and now Rondo has a veteran backup. The Celtics can shoot the ball well and they play good defense. They definitely do not lack the talent to get a championship.

yes boston celtics are very very strong with kevin garnett, ray allen and paul pierce BUT after the trades that happened, like the LA Lakers getting Pau Gasol and Dallas Mavericks getting Jason Kidd, there will be some very tough matchups coming up in the playoffs.
too bad the Houston Rockets lost Yao Ming for the rest of the season due to a microfracture injury :(
so sad..

no, for me boston is the best contender for the nba finals, they will surely dominate the eastern conference playoffs but i bet west team will be get the gold. i go for phoenix suns!

i like KG,but i also don't think celtics will get the final champions,because the west is so strong this year,just like lakes,sprus.

Im a celtic fan but they have no chemistry i think the bench should have more playing time in the playoffs so that the big three can rest for the situations that is really game turning

I disagree, especially since they just picked up Sam Cassell. So now they pretty much have a strong all around team. Plus their bench is not really too bad. So I just think that If Boston stays fresh and get cassell in a nice rotation, I think that Boston posssibly could take it all the way. The west is a powerhouse, but I believe that Boston is going to suprise some people. No I'm not a Boston fan. Kevin Garnett actually has some legitimate help. So when a good player like Kevin is surrounded with good quality, things begin to happen. I also think that The Celtics are making some good moves because they already have Paul, but they have Ray Allen to. And Ray is a very respective veteran in the NBA.
