I would like to know if you're the type of person that stays in the relationship for how many years and will not even think of cutting the strings that unites you two not until your partner will tell that it's not going to work out anymore. Hmmm...

Yes I am. In fact my longest was 5 years. But we did not ended up together. Because we were immature then. We just stop communicating. No final closure.

You're right when your young you really can't make sure if your relationship is really for forever. Looking back with with my past relationships I just felt glad that I did not end up with them like marrying them, because of what they've become right now. I don't think I can still love them. I just made my past relationships as lesson learned to become a better person for the one who I am with right now. We still the communications though. But it's just it nothing else.

I prefer long term. As an exclusive person, I would rather share all my happyiness and pains with one man for the rest of my life. But with the slightest hint that he has a change of heart, I will be the first to sail away to protect my dignity. Fortunately, in my case right now, I can say it's far from happening because he keeps telling me he loves me so much and it won't change.

Hi there clowdine, Good thing that we both prefer to have a long term relationship. I really feel uncomfortable jumping from one relationship to another relationship. Thinking about starting all over again and again especially with the getting to know each other stage was so tiring. But in terms of breaking up, I prefer to have my boyfriend break up with first rather than breaking up with him if I still really like. This is because I don't want to feel any regrets in the end. But good for the both of us that we ae happy with our relationship right now.

Since I was the one to leave him after 18 years, I suppose I am not, but he was. He would of been just fine if I stayed there so unhappy. Didn't seem to give a hoot till I left.

That must be very tough. I would like to know why did you left him at the first place? 18 years is quite a long time.
