High School Reunions. What a waste of time!!!!

OK so everyone who has graduated from high school has been invited to one of these things. What is the point? Last time I checked if you really got a long with someone from high school you make it your point to keep in contact. So if you talk to those from high school that you actually get a long with what is the point of paying the $50 to go hang with them and all those you hated from high school. Some please shead some light on this.

Its seemed that you have many persons you hated in high school huh? heheh. For me, its ok if its only for a day, hang out, go to a place, spend money, eat or shopping with my "old" friends. Again... its only for ONE DAY. Of course i dont want to spend my days with wasteful persons, and some of my classmate in high school love to shopping (buy something unimportant because its cute) Arrrrrggggg.... No way! Anyway, after that i will not meet them again because i'm going to work abroad. hehe...

I think it might be fun but the bit i would hate is meeting the ones i didn't like.also the ones who did better than me lol.it is not as popular in ireland to hae reunions but i think it's a great idea.

I graduated a few years ago and I'm definitely not looking forward to getting the invite for my first reunion. I do think they are kind of pointless. I'm not sure what going to see other people, especially those you did not like, is going to do. Make you feel better or worse about yourself because of where you are in life currently? I'm just not really sure.

After I graduated from High School in 2003, I didn't keep in contact with the people I knew. I do not know if I will go to my High School Reunion but if I have to pay money then I do not think so. For others, maybe they could of lost whatever way they kept in touch with each other. It is a social thing but something else that is too, but a bigger waste of time would be the graduation celebrating thing. You spend a few hours wearing a hat and gown, just to walk across a stage for a few seconds to receive a piece of paper, which you can get without going through that stuff.
