The New Wave Era

Reliving the sounds of the 80's. Dubbed as the second british invasion during the late 70's until mid 80's and scored high on music charts worldwide. Still the best era in the history of music industry.

I guess it really depends on the generation in which you belong. :) For some, 70s is the best era, for me it's the 90s (the alternative, grunge era). :D

Most music reviews are actually claiming the 80's rock era was the best of the millenium. And having heard most of the music as a kid, and now that I'm 26 trying to re-listen to them, I think that they are quite right in their contention. Most 80's music are really music. They are well composed, and are really arraged well. It is far from the 90's bubblegum pop which exploits some recurring tunes composed of four inter-changing chords that repeat the same tune from the beginning to the end, over and over.
