When did your baby start teething....at what age? How did you know? I have a 4 month old and she is eating her fist all the time and sort of drooling. She's not really sucking on her fist and when I try to feed her or give her her pacifier she gives me this look like..."I don't want that I want to chew on my hand" Plus she been a little extra fussy, but she's just a fussy baby anyway though. My son that is now 2 didn't teeth until almost 6 months and it was obvious with him. He would try to chew everything including me when he nursed and would fuss the whole time. She has been such a hard baby I'm so not ready for teething already.

The baby starts to drool and put her fingers or thumsuck by 3 months. Teeth erupts by 6 months or later. So the reaction of your baby is quite normal.

It does sound like she is showing the first signs of teething, mine boys were all very early with their teeth and started around 2 and half months. My daughter on the other hand was later at around 4 - 5 months, but she drooled and chewed on anything she could. You can buy some good gum gel for them though these days, I used that and found it a good help and then the babies pain relief you can get is good. I wish you luck, I am really glad I dont have to go through all that again!!

My daughter started teething at about 3 1/2 months of age, the only sign I had was alot of drooling and she was very fussy. By the age of 4 months she had two teeth. I wish you all the luck with your little one.

Mine were between 4 and 6 months old when they started teething. They were a little on the extra fussy side, drooling and always having something in their mouth. Sometimes they would run a fever. Just give her tylenol and orajel. Good luck with her.

My babies started teething around 3-4months. They usually ending up dribbling alot and their cheeks were very flushed. They also chewed on thier fists and anything else they could put in thier mouths.
