My worst nightmare ever

I believe it was the time around when Sadam Hussain started his war. I was quite terrified of the newsclips about the bombings in Iraq. I guess I had left the radio on before I fell asleep and a song called True Blue came on (not the madonna song) but I woke up to this song playing, and everytime I hear it on the radio I get this aweful feeling and I see this nightmare in my head. The nightmare starts like this.... That war was starting where I lived at the time. My parents owned a farm north of town, and everyone was going there for shelter. As we took the road there, this huge truck with about 100 army men pulled up beside us and they speeded up, and all the sudden the truck started running (yes I mean running as if it had 1000 legs). Suddenly I was driving the van, and the way the back seats were in my dream, they were back to back running from front to back instead of one side to the other. That's the only way I can describe the setting of the vehical. Before I was driving my mom was and I was in the passenger seat, and my brother's were in the back, one on each of the long seats in the back. Suddenly I was driving and my dad was there, I'm not sure where my mom disappeared to, but he was telling me to just drive carefully and cautiously because if they noticed that we were in distress they would pull us over and the end would occur. Everything seemed so scary. We noticed a volkswagon rabbit car about one kilometre ahead of us and seen that they were in trouble from this other vehical that suddenly went from driving on this road to up in the air shooting lazers at this little car! We slowed down and realized we were in big trouble. I noticed the driver of that awkward looking space-like vehical look at us! They finally shot down the driver from the volkswagon rabbit, and headed towards us and then that truck I mentioned earlier, started shooting at us, I seen my brother's get shot and we ended up rolling into the ditch! I woke up stiff as a board, and sweating! I didn't know what to do with myself after waking up from this terror of a nightmare. To this day I will never forget that dream and that's one I remember from over 10 yrs ago. Have you had many dreams where you wake up so scared you can't move?? What were they about?
