I am so ready for spring!

I am tired of the cold, the snow, the ice, and the salt all over my car. Is spring ever going to get here? I am ready to move somewhere warm, but I can't talk my boyfriend into it. He wants to wait 5 more years. I have lived in Ohio all my life and I am ready for a change. I hate dealing with coats, hats, gloves, and scraping windows. I like to be able to grab my purse and keys and go. I love to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine on warm sunny days. I hate Ohio in the winter. Do you like the weather where you live? Does anyone have any recommendations on nice warm places in the U.S. where the cost of living is not outrageous?

I know how you feel! I live in pennsylvania. My husband and I are both sick of the cold weather too. We have played with the idea of moving to north carolina. I have a friend that lives down there. It still gets cold enough to snow down where she is though, but not as much as here. The thing that is stopping us is my parents. My parents are really close with our kids. It would break their hearts if I moved them away from each other. The kids too. I want my kids to grow up with a close relationship to their grandparents.
