yes i remember that. i was born 1970 and during those times that was the cool cartoon ever. i see it still on tv every once in a while but there are a lot of high tech cartoons now.

glad to hear that. it was really the coolest cartoon during that time. and would you believe during its peak it was banned from airing on tv indefinitely during the late 70's. it was crazzzy!

yes, crazy. now there are a lot of cartoons that needs to be banned but you can watch them on tv.
do you know that voltes V was not that popular in japan. i've been there twice already and mazinger Z was more popular than voltes V at japan. and the most popular up to now is Ultra man. they even dress up ultraman as sta claus every christmas.

Yes, I still remember it. It was even released during the 90's, and was dubbed in our own language. I like it's plot, the story of three siblings searching and longing for their parents in midst of war.
I first saw it during the mid-80's, it was dubbed in English then. I enjoy playing their closing song, even on guitar. How I wished to have a robot like that, which I could assemble altogether when I was a kid.

yes, I remember the series along with the other "giant robot animes" during the 80's man we were crazy about those shows back in the days (music from "sunrise,sunset" in the background) - lol!
