Bush is still denying it, ("Naw!, recession--whats that?") but Bernanke it barely able to hold it together probably due to the moral responsibility of leaving the people in the dark. Our model for some time has been to trust in our government to dig us out of the hole that once was in the form of loans and credit cards--now we know that model of overlending is just not working and everyones scrambling to figure out new ways long overdue. Somy question is, how are you--the average citizen, going to weather the storm? Do you even have a gameplan or just now started collecting that extra change (yes, like me)? Are you even beginning to notice the rising costs in your area?

We've been saving as much as we can for the last several months because we have been wanting to move. However, I did realize that when I went to the store again that prices has went up on certain items AGAIN! It's absolutely absurd and they wonder why people can't afford to eat right. Well DUH! The prices are to high. Gas is going up again too, good think I don't have a vehicle, wouldn't be able to afford to go anywhere. Good Post !

Yea, me and my boyfriend are considering a move when our lease is up the end of the summer because the town we live in is a college town and they insist on adding more and more condo's to the area. We want to move to North carolina or somewhere south and will not buy anything new for the apartment (our plans were to buy a house but doesn't look like thats gonna happen soon) until we move. Theirs a great website called CITYDATA.ORG that is a forum for people looking to move to another state, its so great!
