UNRESOLVED DISCUSSION: care to resolve it

It has been months since I have been a member here and it bothers me about my unresolved discussions. I have lots of unresolved discussions, and I wonder how to resolve them. I mean, i get to be obsessive-compulsive about decreasing the number of unresolved discussions listed in me, how do i deal about it? How can i basically resolve it???
