I believe that marriage is decided by choice. However, I believe that God puts signs out there for us--whether we heed them or not--that two particular people might make a good match. This is the way I feel about Russell and me, because--even decades before I met him--there were signs that we would find each other! There have also been confirmation signs that have happened on several occasions since we met. Now, this isn't necessarily signs that we should be married that we're seeing, but, instead, simply signs that we're meant to work together to help homeless and/or at-risk kids. But I really love Russell, so I hope we also end up getting married!

First of all marriages are not decided in heaven...that should answer your second question as well. Divorce rates are increasing now because the basis in relationship now is love, money, etc and not TRUST!!

Im also curious about this. My parents arent actually divorced. because divorce is not allowed here ion our country. my dad has an affair, for almost 3 years. hes not going home and to think of it it seems my mom and dad are separated but without legal acknowledgment. As far as I know, everything will work out well with a marriage if both parties are willing to do each others obligation and love each other. Im still confused if marriage is really made in heaven. But I do believe that God knows what's best for us.
