what do u think that a man is sleeping 12 hours in a day is good or bad. thank u in advance

its bad i sleep about 5 hours a day sleep 12 is to much 8 is the most anyone should sleep.

I think if he wants it and need this why not?! All people have their life mode :) but I think if you ask a doctor, his advice will be: for children (till 21) - 8 hours, for grown-up (age 21 up) - 6 hours..

at least 8 hours of sleep should every individual have to take. in your case, it's a bit ok if that's what you used to and if you don't have any discomfort when you wakeup like headache or nauseous that would be fine but if does you should try to change your sleeping hours a little bit not too much at the same time for example for a week your sleeping hours would be 11 1/2 hours and so so... hope it helps.

I suppose it depends on whether you need 12 hours a day, it does sound a lot given that the average sleep need for adults is around 7 - 8 hours, but then everyone is different.

I also struggle with this, and I think it to be very bad. It is disruptive to your life! I have even been known to sleep for 17 hours in a row! I have actually been going to the doctor for it, because I cant hardly stay awake for longer than 4 hours at a time. Other than disrupting your life, though, Id say all you have to worry about is your body deteriorating from lack of exercise. As long as you exercise when you are awake, though, you should be ok. Oh, and one thing I have noticed is that since i sleep so much, my eating habits are off. Sometimes I only have time to eat once before Im ready for bed again! then the next day I wake up starving! Watch out for that, too, because although Im no doctor, that just cant be healthy! If I were you, I would consider seeing a doctor and perhaps a counselor. Maybe even try sleeping pills, which sounds crazy because you have no trouble sleeping, but they could help you to get a more restful sleep and then maybe you wouldnt require so many hours of sleep!
