person cannot b motivated without self motivation..even though people around him try to motivate.its the self motivation that gives the surge n power to success.. still the external motivation can sure be like a detonator.

I believe both are very important, but if you do not have self-motivation and self-confidence you will really have a hard time succeeding and being happy.

It always feels good when others motivates you. However, a person should be motivated even without other people's help.

i would rather have inner motivation always as that is the thing that you can always depend upon to push you when you are down and in trouble but u can depend on external motivation for some time but not always.

nothing beats self-motivation.. without it, i don't think any amount of external motivation will really help.. =)

Hi, I hope the internal or self motivation is more important unless the external motivation commands are outcomes from the decision one takes from inside. Hence I feel that it is the internal factor is important it is you who to decide whether to implement or do that from the external factors you get. Whether to use it or not is decided from inside.
