I made $1.20 with google adsense last month. How can I increase that? Does anyone have any idea? Do I have to increase my page rank? And if so, how can I go about doing that quickly. I am blogging about weight loss a lot. Well, I didn't blog for a week, but I am back on there now. I know the importance of updating your blog frequently. What else should I do?

Youre in the same boat as me with 73 cents. You are on the right track though by keeping up with the content. Just gotta get the traffic up. Hopefully others can advise you on that, good luck

Yes, this is true. I think that if I would have stuck with the blogging the way I was going with it, I would have more traffic by now. But I took a break of sorts. Only a week this time. But before that, it was hit and miss too. When I first started blogging, I was on there typing away everday. Not now though. I have to get back to that I guess.

I skimmed through your discussion and I see a lot people telling you you have to get more traffic, but not saying how. Here is some free advice. Ping your blog every time you make a post. I use Ping.In at www.ping.in. This ping your blog to several places. Bookmark every post on social bookmarking sites like Stumpleupon, Digg, Reddit and more. I use SocialPoster.com to bookmark my post. Above all optimize every post to your target keyword to get search engine traffic. I see that your target is travel, which is a highly used niche. You should try using a smaller niche in the travel area.

You can use a tool like wordtracker to check keywords to see how competition there is and how much search results they get.

You have to make sure that you get a lot of traffic in a day. One good way to drive traffic is to optimize your pages through SEO. Here's my article: http://www.projectwicked.org/how-to-do-seo/ I think the best thing you can do is submit your website to different search engines. Here's a list of free directories: http://www.bloggingmix.com/2008/02/20/submit-your-blog-free-directory-no-reciprocal-link-needed/

As many people have mentioned, getting traffic is absolutely key. In order to do this for your own blog, however, you need to be very tech saavy and internet saavy. Instead, one easy way is to simply post your content in as many places as possible. For example, I have a blog which can be found at www.geoffreyweed.blogspot.com. If you look at the articles found in that blog (which receives very few hits on its own) you'll notice that most of that content has been posted on many other sites which allow it to earn money. For instance, my article on "How to Make Money Selling Tickets on Stubhub" is posted on my blog, Helium.com, Associatedcontent.com, Printnpost.com, eHow.com, and several other sites as well. By spreading your content around to all of these different places, you'll help ensure that it gets traffic and generates you revenue. Remember: work smarter, not harder.

Well, its all about content...People come to visit a site because of good content they can find...So try updating regularly and see if the traffic picks up.. You need to approach this slowly...First, regular posting...If not working, then try some promotion by doing link exchange and comment on other people's blogs...

A good way to get traffic it to start answering Yahoo answers, and refer your website after answering any question , you will definetly get traffic, if you answer 10 questions you get 10 visitors and if you answer 100 and you get 100 , i have tried it and its worth answering. from http://trainyourmind.blogspot.com
