Everybody it seems is jumping on the bandwagon of voting in possibly, the first black president,has ANYBODY,stop to consider the potential backlash(pardon the pun)here?when O.J. SIMPSON was found not guilty i remember how whites were on one side of the issue and blacks were on the other side!and i think that O.J. got off because there would have been another riot worse than the L.A.riots!now what if OBAMA comes close and loses?will we see another race riot all over the country?also with OBAMA coming this close to winning the most powerful position in the world,will america's view of african/americans being this weak,no future,drug dealers,pimps,welfare users change,and is BARACK OBAMA now raising the bar for all blacks in AMERICA to now trive to better positions within corperate america?because you can no longer use that down trotten excuse anymore as one black comedian was saying the other nite on jay leno!because now you won't be able to blame the white president for your failures right?things to ponder!

i am going add my few cents to this one. i could careless what color his skin is. what i do care about is what is it that he knows to help him be a good president. if someone could tell me that would be great. i am so sick of hearing about color. be more worried about his name, i am sorry that right there is something that i can not get past.

Well what's in a name huh?actually obama's father is kanyian and a muslim and his mother is white and a christian,but in most muslin religions the father is the dominant one,head of the house whole,so i would say he is more muslim than christian!but like i said it is more politics for him to say christian for now,for voting purposes!

I must admit, just reading the title of this discussion came very close to making me avoid it completely but ultimately I couldn't resist responding if only to ask, with all due respect, are you trying to offend not only all blacks here on myLot but also anyone who may be even considering voting for Barack Obama? Because frankly, while I don't offend easily I do take exception to the notion that we're all so shallow and mindless we must be "jumping on the bandwagon" if we support Obama. I saw Wanda Sacks appearance on Jay Leno's show the other night also and someone I "got it" that she was making a joke. I don't think Obama is getting the support he's getting because he's black or that, certainly not because people are afraid there will be riots if he loses anymore than I think that of Hillary Clinton because she's a woman. I've been feeling great pride in our nation lately but I guess it hasn't extended quite far enough yet for you to even think these things. This isn't intended to offend you but I think you could clarify yourself a bit better.

Are you speaking for everyone Annie?or just the ones voting for OBAMA?frankly i switched channel when she started making fun of HILLARY'S running on the platform of good old fashion experienced,because i was quite offended by that,as when wolf blitzer asked an african/american CNN analysis if he thought HILLARY clinton would be continuing after next tuesday,he replied rather mookingly "god i hope not"!besides if i offended anyone on here with the truth,you just prove my point exactly,let me give you a challenge on here right now ANNIE!i'll even make it easy on you as well ANNIE,find someone on here,or one of your friends of african decent WHO IS NOT VOTING FOR BARACK OBAMA AND WHY?and i will know if your friend is just saying it to help you win the bet by the way!by the way i don't think you read what i said properly did you,i said"I SAID OBAMA IS GETTING THE BLACK VOTE BECAUSE HE IS BLACK AND THEY ARE ALSO BLACK!"and if you are NOT black and you let it be known you are voting of HILLARY OR MCCAIN then you are branded a RACIST!so if the truth hurts well so be it!and if you read your statement on here ANNIE that is exactly what you are doing,you are telling me,if i don't want to offend any black person i should change the truth and say i was wrong as to not offend anyone?in other words to correct the error i am pro obama?nice try!when i say jumping on the band wagon i am reffering to the kennedys,john kerry,Dodd,all these senators who simply joined him because they see he is leading,but if he starts to lose then its back to HILLARY aah what a joke!by the way those kind of jokes that Ms sacks was making had the very real desired effect on obama's behalf!
