Why do they ask you to submit tags.....

Well it's so people who search for discussions will see the discussions on the particular subject they're searching. tags are very helpful actually. Usually i don't put in any more tags when all the direct tags or actual subjects are already listed.

since mylot is becoming more and more popular around the world, it is quiet important to submit tags. There are loads of discussions here as you can see and it wouldn't be easy to look for a subject if there were no tags. The tags should be related to the discussion topic. Because when a search is made, the results will come up for the "matched" tags. So if you want your discussion to be found when someone looks for something specific, then you should put the tags to make that sure. And if you have read the rules before, it says "before starting a discussion, search and see if it is opened before" Yes, by this "search" the most important point is tags. Imagine you are looking for some information about "mozilla" and there have been lots of discussions created about mozilla but more than one week passed. So, when you type "mozilla" (tag search) it will look for the discussions which include "mozilla" in the tags and that will surely help to keep mylot a more tidy place. Otherwise there would be loads of discussions which could not be found.

Tags are very important because it helps other mylotters to search for a topic. But, this can cause a little problem, especially if users input an irrelevant tag to a topic.

I think that adding tags makes your reply more "complete" and puts the algorhythm more in your favor thus increasing the amount you get paid. However, as I always state when I mention the algorhythm I have no idea how it works nor do I pretned to know how it works.

by submitting tags , if you search a keyword in discussion you will find mtters which is appropriate to it

adding tags makes it easy for people to search for the discussions... so, that wud get u more responses..it is not complusary though..

The MyLot police will come after you if you don't put in the tags. LOL

I don't really know what the tags are for, but I know most of the time I skip submitting tags because it kind of bothersome, but I still do it sometimes anyways
