Do you have the experience of separateness?

As a human being,we all have feeling and we know the feeling of separateness.Take me for example,my boyfriend went to another city to work,but i have to stay this city in order to study.We can not see each other frequently,so we know what is missing.What about you? Do you have the same experience with me?

i have no boyfriend, nevertheless i have studied in university which is long distance away from my hometown for 4 years. in the very beginning, i'v never felt lonely, since it was the first time for me to contact the real world myself. there were so many things attract my attention and i felt i would never tired of them.
as time went by,i started to miss my parents as well as the meals they cook at home. i was looking forward to home during the days before term was over.
now i understand gradually,you won't treasure something until it is away from you.
