yes i have experienced it.If you have posted something which is violating or something related to adult stuffs then your post might be deleted due to the rules of mylot.com so while posting do care about that and do not repeat your answers more than 5-6 times

Hi Goldwin, I too have been experiencing this as well. The worst part for me was that I had just put a post up celebrating my 200 and they deleted it and a couple of others so I was no longer a member of the 200 club!
I believe they also delete if there are links to certain sites. And while you may have not done anything wrong someone in the same discussion as you may have so we all lose out!

Hello LouRHi. Oh.. you must be very dissapointed for not being able to be the 200 mylotters then. I guess mine was reduced due to the fact that I involved in the discussion that were violated the stipulated guidelines of mylot. However I noticed that my earning remain the same. Luckily the moderator didn't deduct my earning too. Thanks for you comment and have a enjoyable day.

Yaah there is always a possibility that when you switch on your computer next morning you might also find it done
against your name because Mylot has the policy of deleting posts that are usually not required.They just delete the contents that are too repetitive in nature.They also delete the contents that are copy-righted so that they do not face any problem there after.Yes i have experienced it and that is why i m talking to you.

Thanks for the sharing. I didn't know that mylot will delete any posting. Actually I didn't post any unscrupulous or using abusive language in my posting. I guess they have every reason to delete our posting. Once again thank you and have a nice day.

The usual cause of such a decrease on our post is that, they are deleted. Now these deletions come with various reasons as well, like violating the guidelines. So I'd suggest you to visit the link on the guidelines, located somewhere on the lower part of your monitor. There you'll find the DO's and DON'TS of this site, read and follow them to avoid such deletions and understand the causes of it.
You can also check this link, as mylot posted this long time ago concerning why posts are deleted..

Hello Raijin, Thanks for posting the link from Mylot to me. I've checked it and now I understand the reason why my number of posting had been decreased. To me it is a good idea for the moderator to check and delete any posting which they find violating Mylot policy. Thanks for the sharing and God bless you. Yes, now that I know the reason I don't feel bad afterall. The moderator has the right to delete any unscrupulous posting, posting copyrighted pictures, or violating the rules of mylot. Thanks for your valuable posting.

well, as many will tell you, this is due to getting either your posts or topics being deleted. sometimes, it's not because of what you wrote, it's rather the discussion or topic has violated the guidelines as stated. thus if you have posted for those discussions which get deleted, chances are of course your post will get deleted thus the decrease.
don't worry too much. i too have gotten my posts deleted umpteen times. so one day, i just went to read the guidelines again. i tend to forget what is written there so i have to read it through from time to time.

Hi sminut13, we meet again. I don't remember posting something sensitive or violated the guidelines but as you said the possibility is that I may have involved in the discussion which have been deleted due to violating the guidelines. To me, that make sense. Anyway, thanks for the sharing.

Yes thats happnes to everyone and there is a simple explanantion to it. You had either a discussion delted or you had a response you gave to somone delted.
If that happnes you will lose that post and you will also lose your earnings for that posts.
Reasons for deltetion are things like referal links, and asking stuff that has no substance like what is your favorite color.
