What do you miss?

Being a kid is pretty carefree for most... those were easy days!

yes very true... Love those days back.

Wow! What a big family! I'll bet you've got all kinds of fun stories! Are you all still close?

im the only one who doesnt live in the same state as them, but my parents and brothers and sisters all live within 10 miles of each other, ill be back up there some day soon. i go to see them every weekend. but yes we are all very close, we had things that went on in our childhood that had kept us close and beable to help eachother. my dad was gone alot (coal minor) one of my older brothers body was burned in a house fire wich had taken alot of my parents time and we lost a little sister as some other things but our childhood was happy otherwise we delt with things as a family and still do.

Family is really important. Sometimes, we don't realize that until we are grown, though.

And to think -- most of us griped a little about our few chores! Little did we know that we'd have SO MANY more once we were grown up! :O)

Do you keep in touch with any of your old friends?

We used to play outside A LOT! I think kids now stay inside WAY too much!

Good! I'll bet you missed having a dad around when you were a child, but I'm glad that you have him now!

It's nice when kids think that their parents are great -- not all do! :O)

Kids meet so many people just by going to school. It's harder to find the time to meet that many people for most adults.

When we are kids, we don't want our parents to treat us like kids -- and when we are adults, we'd like them to baby us a little!! :O)

So many people say they miss school -- but back in school, everybody couldn't wait to graduate!!

No bills, an allowance, and candy -- sounds good!

Christmas was wonderful as a kid. It's still great, but not having to pay for it was terrific!

Yep... messy hair, rumpled clothes, dirty face... the good old days! :O)

I loved school -- the biggest stress back then was studying for a big test!

I like the park, too. I loved taking my kids there and soon, my grandbabies will be old enough to enjoy it!
