Grissom and Sarah. Why did it have to end?

I really wanted the both of them to end up happy but alas... If ever there was a romantic coupling then this was it. The bug guy and the csi. I wonder why we find him so interesting? He is the antithesis of a romantic lead and yet I was absolutely fascinated.

I myself thought they made a great couple. Even though they were different, they related together on so many things. More mentally related than anything else.

I agree with you totally. Sara had a lot of baggage from her past, but Grissom could have been a really supportive partner for her. I wish they hadn't split. I think he is so interesting because beneath that cool scientific shell he is a vulnerable human. I have liked William Peterson for years in almost all the roles he has played.
