Ideas for a Portfolio??

I need some good ideas for art pieces to make a good portfolio for when I apply for school. Does anyone have any suggestions??

I guess the best the thing for you to do is mainly focus on what are you are best in like portraits maybe or whatever but also have a selection of other areas, scenes, articles, a little of everything, even abstract, oils and water if you paint in both, sketches if you do that. I wish you good luck my friend.

I have tried just about anything at least once. I guess I'm just looking for themes or some interesting idea to portray.

Fill it with whatever you enjoy doing most. Creativity can't be forced.
