I named my son after my favorite philosopher, SOCRATES. My Cousin named her daughter LLAMELA for it is unique and has no meaning at all. I was wondering, will you name your offspring after someone elses name or would you prefer naming them a unique name which you alone could define why?

My oldest son William, is named after his gandfather. My yongest son Stephen is named after me. I guess if I could I would change Stephens name to something else, only because people tease him saying how he will grow up to be exactly like me. I do not want to pressure him like that, even though I would love it if he were like me. His older brother William has always been more like me down to the last stich then Stephen ever was. People often tell me that I should move the two's names around I have considered it before but only if they would agree to it.
