ideas for a restaraunt

have you ever wanted to open a restaurants? The other day, my culinary professor was talking about opening a German inspired cafe. but he said he had done the research and it's wasn't for the area where we live. No one would eat there he says. But i'd try it. What are some of your favorite dishes/restaurants?

I love KFC. I know its nothing new or anything but I was just thinking about this earlier. The KFC out in Branson, MO and many others out that way have a buffet. My KFC here in NY doesnt and no KFC within hundreds of miles does. It would be a great idea to put one of those in this area, however being a KFC someone already owns them and whatnot.
