Are you a person who switch credit card, just because the other card give better discounts, promotion etc. Or do you own many different credit cards. Or are you like me, I have 1 credit card and have been a member since 1982. Why do you switch from one credit card to another? Or have you gone to the next stage and have debit cards or credit lines or even over draft. Is it possible not to have a credit card and just pay everthing in cash?

Credit cards will suck our pockets dry - I don't know but ever since I became a professional, I never use credit cards...we are used to buying things in cash--from food at the groceries, to novelty items, to clothes and shoes, etc. Just recently, I got 2 credit cards which I reserve only for emergency cases. Since such emergencies did not yet come (such as being hospitalized), I have not yet used them.
Yup, I do...it is possible. We have credit cards (my husband and 2 kids) but we never use them; would use them only for emergency cases, which did not come yet...hopefully, not. But we have been buying in malls, groceries, appliance centers, in cash! Believe it or not...it IS possible. We understand that credit cards have a lot of hidden charges which may suck our pockets dry if we're not careful...I have known friends who have been knee-deep in credit card debts and becomes a vicious cycle. So if I don't have that much cash for shopping, the best remedy is, I don't shop. I wait till it's payday in order to buy those little luxuries that I can afford. So, yes...we can buy everything in cash...Thanks for this interesting discussion.

I am a 1 credit card person.Member since 1995. I don't like the idea of switching. I had 2 cards once, but didn't like the company. So back to one. My hubby however has a few cards. He finds them handy.
