Guilt? Innocence?

Let's say you dontated money to a company you did not know had attachment to terrorist activities. Or how about you decide hey I really don't like what the Government is following what I am paying them for. Better yet what if you had a family member or friend that was the wrong religious belief, connected to the wrong people, or were found as an "enemy combatant" Would you stand by them while they were beat, waterboarded, and tortured? It's different when someone that you know or yourself is innocent and the Government has decided you are guilty. Yeah, it happens everyday, the question is when will it happen to you? Are you willing to find out? Ainge

It is important to stand up and be counted and not to let anybody, least of all governments think that they have the right to dictate their ideologies onto you unless you have mandated them to do that through the ballot box. If they then choose to pervert that trust then it is reasonable for us to protest, preferably peacefully. You know my views on GiTMo, it shouldn't be there, shouldn't need to be there and it violates everything that "free" people espouse. But just remember, especially today, no matter who you vote for, the Government always get in!

I thought that you had a head of steam up. You've become a one woman discussion starter. My inbox has been pinging like a microwave on speed.
