easter is coming! what do you make for dinner?

i decided this year i was going to make easter dinner. normally when we are home on a holiday we do nothing but run. now with 3 kids we don't want to and they always get upset cuz they want to stay home and play. well my side of the family is going out to eat and then my hubby's mom was going to make dinner but i said i would cuz i really don't like going to their house and i want the kids to beable to stay home. anyway i normally just make what we like but now i am gonna have like 15 people and would like to see what others make for easter dinner. also what kind of pies and things do you make? my son asked if i would make a carrot cake for him so that will be one thing.

I am hoping that we get invited somewhere this year for Easter Dinner because I had Thanksgiving and Chritmas Eve here.
When we all get together there are 22 of us!
Our typical menu is:
salas
ham
mashed potatoes
gravy
corn
green bean casserole
broccoli/cheese casseole
rolls
Then tons of desserts:
carrot cake for us too!
cheese cake
apple pie
home made whipped cream
jello
We always eat, then play games, then have dessert.

wow 22 i thought 15 was a lot!
yummy it all sounds so good! i love holiday food.
home made cool whip? never tried it,might have to find a recipe for that. i like the idea of jello the kids would probly love it.

BTW...it was salad, not salas
This years desserts were crappy:( They were both something made with pudding. I was like, Where is the carrot cake?

make soem easter eggs, there pretty easy to make. Maybe potatoes with vegetables stuffed inside of them with a side of mashed potatoe. Maybe you should leave some carrot out for the easter bunny with 100 bucks, some iced coffee and a box of donuts.
