Walk the Talk

I have been through several failed relationships and I was able to learn alot from them to the point that I have become the confidant and adviser of my high school and college friends. They say people who give good advice are usually the ones who cannot apply their knowledge to their own lives. What do you think about this paradox? However, I can confidently say without a thread of doubt that I walk the talk.

When our friends come to us to tell us their concerns or problems, we are objective. We do know how they feel however, our judgment is not clouded by our emotions. Hence, we mostly guide them to the right path. This usually doesn't happen when it comes to dealing our own problems. We have so many things going on in our minds that we tend to be confused. Even though we know what is truly right for us to do, we still think that we can't handle the situation and that is not because we are helpless but because we are too focused on how we feel about the situation that we let our hearts rule.

"experience is the best teacher" true, we learn a lot from our experience. For me it doesnt really follow if ur good in giving advices u cannot apply it. It really depend upon the situation. It's actually a case to case basis.
